Responsibilities:
● Develop high-quality, responsive, and scalable web applications using Django and Django Rest Framework.
● Implement microservices architecture to support various application use cases, ensuring modularity, scalability, and maintainability.
● Collaborate with project managers, designers, and fellow developers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
● Design and implement software solutions that align with business requirements and user needs, following best practices and design patterns.
● Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that adheres to established coding standards.
● Configure and deploy Django applications using Gunicorn as the WSGI server, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
● Set up and manage Nginx as a reverse proxy server to handle client requests and improve application security.
● Utilize ASGI for handling asynchronous tasks and implementing real-time features in Django applications.
● Implement async views, middleware, and database operations to enhance application responsiveness and scalability.
Required Skills/Technologies:
● Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Django and building microservices-based applications.
● Strong expertise in implementing microservices architecture, including service discovery, communication protocols, and orchestration.
● Experience with Advanced Message Queuing Protocols (such as RabbitMQ) in a microservices environment.
● Proficiency in relational databases, writing efficient queries, and managing transactions.
● Strong understanding of Django, Python, and web development principles, patterns, and best practices.
● Familiarity with Gunicorn, Nginx, and WSGI/ASGI servers for deploying Django applications.
● Experience with async programming in Django, including async views, middleware, and database operations.
● Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

I’m a Django back end developer with 5 years of experience in Django and Django REST Framework. I am very proficient in python and conversant with other languages like C++ and JavaScript. I can also use JS frameworks like React JS and Express. I can work with PostreSQL, MySQL, SQLite and Mongo DB (for JavaScript).
